Philipp Lahm has warned that the current Bayern team has nothing in common with the one which crashed out of the 2009 quarterfinals against Barcelona. "The 4-0 defeat in 2009 is not a precedent," he assured.
"We've continued to evolve. We've strengthened our squad. We have 24 players and any of them can start in any game," said the Bayern captain.
Lahm stressed Messi's importance for Barça's game: "Barça plays better with Messi. It's difficult to put a percentage on how important he is."
