Mourinho: "I hope football is fair to my players"

By on 21:55

"The four goals Dortmund scored against us came from our mistakes"

"I'm looking for more concentration in defence, for us to be solid"

Mourinho mentioned the revelation of Götze's transfer. "I don't know Götze, nor do I know the mentality or culture of the Dortmund fans, and I don't know what his teammates are thinking. So I don't know whether it will have a positive or negative effect, or no effect at all."
When asked whether Casillas would play, Mou announced that Diego López will start and gave the names of nine of the other ten players. "We hope Di María can play. He has had a happy day because his daughter was born, but it's also been a difficult one because he's had an emotionally draining day. It hasn't been easy. The line-up will be Diego López; Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Varane, Coentrao; Xabi, Khedira; Özil, Cristiano and Higuaín."
"My relationship with Casillas is a professional one – a polite one between polite people," he replied when asked about his relationship with the Real Madrid captain.
"Each team has a 25% chance of winning the Champions League," said Mou, who emphasised how evenly matched and strong the four semi-finalists are.
In terms of football, Mou talked about what he is expecting from Dortmund: "The four goals they scored against us came from our mistakes. The first goal in Dortmund came after we lost the ball while building a move, and for the second an opposing full back arrived with no-one marking him. The first at the Bernabéu came after a long clearance by the keeper and in the final one, we failed to close down the inside space. All of them were goals that we could have avoided. I'm looking for more concentration in defence, for us to be solid. If they score against us, they need to be fantastic goals, unstoppable, where there's nothing anyone can do."
