Pepe could be out for Istanbul

With Sergio Ramos suspended, it could be Raúl Albiol who José Mourinho has to turn to as a centre-half partner for Raphael Varane for the return match of the Champions League quarter-final tie that Real Madrid will play against Galatasaray on Tuesday.
The reason for that is Pepe, who would have been the first choice to cover the position in defence, had to leave training prematurely in Turkey on Monday morning with a niggling injury.
The Portuguese defender completed a lap of the playing pitch, and after lengthy discussions with the club’s doctor and physiotherapist he went off to the dressing room without taking any further part, making his presence in Tuesday’s match doubtful.
