The Spanish forward
Raúl González, ex-Real Madrid player currently on the books of Qatari
side Al Sadd, spoke at the Losail circuit, stating that he hopes his old
club wins a tenth European trophy, adding that he thinks Real Madrid is
"well on the way to it".
Speaking to Tele5 on the starting grid for the Moto2 race, Raúl wished his ex-club luck in the Champions League match against Turkish side Galatasaray, hoping they get through to the semi-final stage of Europe’s biggest club competition.
"They are well on track, and I am hoping that that tenth title comes along in May, as all Real Madrid fans are", Raúl said. When asked about the future of Mourinho, he replied "you'll have to ask him that".
