With Mourinho, anything is possible

Real would qualify with 33 of Mou's home results
Real Madrid is facing an unprecedented event. The team has to come back from 4-1 down in a Champions League semi-final. The means may have changed, but not the end, which is to win by three or more goals, depending on how many Borussia scores. That said, Real has already achieved that on a number of occasions. To be exact, 33 times since Mourinho's arrival at the club.
That is almost 40% (39.2%) of Real's home games, which total 84. In addition, we have to highlight that Real Madrid has won another eight games 4-1, the exact scoreline that would take the game to extra-time. In other words, Madrid would be alive and kicking with 49% of the results it has pulled off at the Bernabéu in the last three seasons and that is no mean feat.
In fact, Real Madrid's last home result in the Champions League would see 'Los Blancos' safely through to the Wembley final. That was the 3-0 against Galatasaray. Of the 33 games cited, nine were high-scoring Champions League wins. In addition to the wins against Galatasaray, Auxerre, Lyon, Tottenham, Ajax, Lyon again and Dinamo Zagreb, we have to add two 4-1 triumphs, against CSKA Moscow and Ajax.
Another fact that points to a possible comeback: Real's average goals per home game record this year stands at 3.25. The Santiago Bernabéu has seen 78 goals scored in 24 games. If Real can maintain this average, it is back in the tie.
