He told reporters: "This defeat has to help us learn from our errors, something we have been unable to do in the tie. We also need to take stock of ourselves even when we win and recognise that there are still some very strong teams out there that we need to beat. The team did everything to try and beat Bayern, but they beat us because they were stronger and more organised than us.
Iniesta acknowledged that Bayern were worthy finalists: "They outplayed us in the first and second leg. They are very strong and we feel that they deserve to be in the final. They have an incredible level of fitness and they relaxed."
"It hurts us that we are not at their level, each one of us gave our all in these two games, but it didn't work out well for us.
Barça support: "We have to thank all the people for the support they gave us, seeing them cheer us on was a boost, but it wasn't meant to be. Next year we will try again."
The future: "Now we have to think about the league, it is within our hands. But we have to separate these things [the defeat] and fight to win it as soon as possible and by happy with that achievement."
