The Real Madrid of the future

By on 11:54

With Isco's signing, Ancelotti's Real Madrid is starting to take shape. The Málaga player will move to Chamartín in exchange for €24 million plus €3 million in bonuses according to Real Madrid, and €30 million according to Málaga.
His arrival is causing a stir amongst Real fans: basketball player Rudy Fernández has already tweeted that he wants his shirt. He is a young Spanish player who may well act as the team's helmsman for many years to come. The official announcement of the signing will be made next week and it gives us a glimpse of the new direction which the club is taking.
Real's future depends on the addition of fresh, match-winning blood. These are the kids of the '90s who grew up playing Pokémon. Isco, Nacho, Carvajal, Morata, Casemiro and Jesé - six definite additions to the 'Los Blancos' first-team squad for next season - were all born between 1990 and 1993.
We can add Varane to the list, also born in '93, who will take the final step and consolidate his place this year. Ancelotti will have to act as both coach and educator, with the aid of his more veteran players, in order to equip his squad with the maturity necessary to compete. He has the experience, and will provide the perfect mentor for this group of youngsters - strict yet easygoing.
The Italian is already rubbing his hands together and he has not even arrived in Madrid yet. PSG will officially announce Blanc's signing on Monday, and 'Los Blancos' are expected to do the same with Ancelotti.
