Cristiano Ronaldo immortalized in wax: “It’s just like me”

Cristiano Ronaldo paid a visit to the Wax Museum in Madrid this morning to inspect a waxwork figure of himself which went on display today. The museum took Cristiano’s measurements back in May and artists have been hard at work during the intervening months completing the figure.
The player was visibly surprised by the result, “For me it’s a great pleasure. It’s almost exactly like me,” he said, posing next to his waxwork figure.
Today’s event attracted a great number of visitors – some wanting to see the waxwork figure of Cristiano, others, the real thing. The figure wears the Portugal kit and has CR7 in classic, pre-set-piece stance, legs parted and eyes firmly focused.
