At the La Romareda, Barça completed 300 games in a row beating its
opponent in terms of possession, something which is a great source of
pride at the club. So much so, a logo was published on the club's
official website to celebrate the achievement, along with details of the
statistics behind the 'Azulgrana' record.
No-one has beaten Barcelona on possession since 7th May, 2008. The last team to manage it was Real Madrid, which managed 50.5% in the penultimate fixture of the 2007/08 season.
Since then, Barça has played 300 games in which it has dominated control of the ball: 185 in the league, 62 in the Champions League, 39 in the cup, 8 in the Spanish Super Cup, 4 in the Club World Cup and 2 in the European Super Cup.
