Klopp: "Mourinho's reports will tell him nothing"

By on 12:21

Borussia Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp doubts that José Mourinho will be able to take much from his visit to Fürth stadium where he saw Dortmund thrash Greuther Fürth (6-1). "I could have told him that we are quite a good team myself if he had called me on the phone", Klopp joked.
"It would have only taken a call also to tell him that Mario Götze can play on the left wing, Kevin Grosskreutz can play at full-back if needed and that Ilkay Gündogan can do a job as a number 10", he added. Klopp described the coach's trip to Fürth as typical of Mourinho and said that he too catches a lot of his opponents' games, but fortunately thanks to modern technology, he says he does not need to travel to watch every fixture live in the stands.
"If he needs the experience of seeing his opponent in the stadium then there is obviously no problem. However he left when we were 5-0 up so he missed our weaknesses", Klopp said. The visit of Mourinho to Germany does prove that the "Champions League is a very important competition" according to Klopp. Defender Mats Hummels was another to suggest that Mourinho won't have got much out of his trip. "I don't know what he was looking for but he won’t have learnt much from that", he said.
