"There's a German player I like very much"

By on 12:22

Barcelona's interest in the Dortmund defender Mats Hummels is becoming increasingly apparent. In an interview with German TV channel 'ZDF', Barça president Sandro Rossell made the following comment on the situation:
"There's a German player I like very much, but I can't give his name because if we go for him in the end, his price will go up".
The 'Azulgrana' club's interest in the German defender was revealed by 'Sport Bild' and it looks as though his move to Barça is beginning to take shape.
Rosell also talked about Pep's move to Bayern: "When I heard about the signing, I congratulated Guardiola and Rummenigge because I think it's the smartest decision for both parties."
He predicted a positive future for the Munich-based team and its work with the academy: "With patience and if they truly believe in it, Bayern could also implement it [a youth policy like Barça's] successfully. With Guardiola they'll now have someone who will help speed up that process. Pep knows how it works."
