Mourinho: "If we don't reach the final, the failure will be mine"

He believes it is an unwritten rule at almost every club
Looking ahead to the second-leg meeting with Borussia Dortmund, José Mourinho did not hesitate to take responsibility for the possibility of his team being eliminated: "The record of 100 points belongs to Real Madrid, but if we don't reach the final, it will be my failure".
The manager avoided getting emotional about the game: "We have to respect the club's history. I don't like to talk about our chances of going through, especially when we have to come back from a bad result. It's difficult to do the maths when it's 4-1".
"In Dortmund I said it would be fair if this team were to win the Champions League. Football is often unfair. I was talking in a figurative sense. That day, the winners deserved to win and the losers deserved to lose. Football was fair in Dortmund", he said.
"I've read some comments by someone who was talking about using dirty and legitimate tactics. I talked about similar things when I was at Inter and the whole world jumped on top of me. Today we can talk about that. But we're so pure and innocent that Lewandowski scored four goals against us and we didn't foul him once", Mourinho remarked.
"We're going to play and try to get ahead. If we go one-nil up, we need two more goals to win. We have to take it from minute to minute, goal to goal, right to the death. If we play like we did in Dortmund, we'll lose. But if we play with team spirit, anything's possible. There, we played as if it was a friendly", he finished by saying.
