'El Pipita' has denied on his Twitter account that he told Sportsweek magazine that the fans at the Bernabéu never sang his name and that the fans at the San Paolo stadium did.
"Hello everyone. I want to categorically deny saying that the fans at the Bernabéu never sang my name. I never said that and wanted to make that clear", the Argentine wrote.
The day before, Gonzalo Higuaín's family contacted MARCA to deny the comments. "Gonzalo wouldn't say anything against a club he loves", said his brother Nico.
