Neymar
will be out for between three and four weeks due to his right ankle
injury. That means the Brazilian will most probably be fit to face
Manchester City in the Champions League tie.
After examining the player on Friday morning, the doctors have subsequently confirmed the preliminary diagnosis revealed on Thursday night.
Speaking to the press after the cup clash against Getafe, Tata Martino shed light on the sprain Neymar sustained to the tendons in his right ankle.
"It will probably take a little while for him to play again. But we think that, thankfully, the injury is not as bad as it could have been. Everybody should be calm because he is alright".
"The tests that were performed here earlier gave us some hope and, if the results are confirmed, it won't be too long until he is back in action. The player is calm; he was with his father in the dressing room and the doctors gave them hope", Martino added.
