"The club wasn't wrong to talk to Luis Enrique", says Martino

Gerardo Martino isn't concerned by events at Barcelona over the past week. The current Barça boss says he isn't annoyed by the club's sporting director, Zubizarreta's meeting with Luis Enrique. "The club has done nothing wrong. At least not in my eyes," he said.

Martino's future: "I won't necessarily be happy with my work even if we do win the league title."

"There's no result that will change my future."

"I'm very proud to coach Barcelona. It's a huge job."

After the meeting between Barça and Luis Enrique: "The club doesn't have to apologise to me."

When Barça thought the title race was lost...: "We're very self-critical and we have no problem admitting we were wrong. I wish everyone were as self-critical as we are."

Do you deserve to win the league? "If we win it, we aren't going to take to the streets and say that we don't deserve it. We'll celebrate our win. There might not be that much difference between the best team in Europe and one that had a disastrous season."
