Spanish Cup semis: Barcelona vs. Valencia and   Sevilla vs. Celta

The draw for the Spanish Cup semi-finals has paired Barcelona with Valencia and Sevilla with Celta. The first legs will be played on 3rd and 4th February respectively, whilst the return fixtures will be on 10th and 11th February. 

The final is scheduled for 21st May at a still undecided venue.

Atlético Madrid's cup elimination has made the Vicente Calderón the most likely candidate to host the final. 

Due to its geographical location and infrastructure, Madrid is Spain's most accessible city. 

The Santiago Bernabéu has been completely ruled out as a possible venue for the final. 

Real Madrid already told the Spanish Football Federation last season that they did not want to host a cup final for now. The club and the Federation currently have a strained relationship.
