Madrid legend Raúl wants to be part of 'Operation 3-0'

Raúl wants to be there for what could be an almighty party in the Bernabéu if Mou's team can pull off a come-back against Dortmund; what is being called 'Operation 3-0'. The legendary number 7 has asked his current club, Al Sadd, with which he recently won the Qatar league, to allow him to travel to Spain to be in the Bernabéu to support his eternal team. As yet however the club has not replied and the player is yet to find out if he can fulfil his wish, though he does have flights organised. His plan is to leave tomorrow from Doha at 7 in the morning, and leave for Qatar around 11 on Wednesday. The flight time to Madrid is seven hours.
Raúl recently hit the headlines, playing his 1,000th competitive match (he has now played 30 with his current club, with which he has scored 11 goals). He hit the milestone in a 1-3 win over Al Rayyan, qualifying for the Emir Cup final, to be played next 4 May in Doha against Lekhwiya.
Raul's presence in the Bernabéu would be important for two reasons. He continues to be a source of inspiration for the Real Madrid cause, with whom he won every possible title except for the Copa del Rey, and was responsible for a number of legendary moments, including several valiant come-backs in the Bernabéu. On the other hand his presence would also have an impact for Dortmund, given that the star striker was an emblem for Schalke 04, Dortmund's greatest rivals. In two seasons in Germany he played 98 games and scored 40 goals. He was also vital in the triumph in the German Cup and the Supercup, as well as getting to the Champions League semi-final.
