Barça making an offer for Thiago Silva

Barcelona is prepared to grant Coach Tito Vilanova his wish and sign Thiago Silva to shore up the centre of defence. He is the player Vilanova wants and it is said that if he does not come the coach will veto the signing of any other central defender.
With that in mind Barcelona is currently preparing an offer to take to Paris and negotiate with PSG for the player. The idea is to spend all the money it receives from the players leaving on Silva. Those on the departure list could be David Villa who is talking to Tottenham about a transfer for which Barca expects to receive €15 million.
The other possible source of income would be the sale of the club's own Thiago who could be bound for Manchester United if the English club agrees to pay the €18 million of his transfer clause. According to Catalunya Radio, the fee for Thiago Silva would be €32 million.
Despite rumours that the club has spoken directly with the player, it is his agent Paulo Tonietto who has come out in various media outlets saying that it is PSG with who Barcelona needs to talk. "I have not met with Raúl Sanllehí. It is difficult to say no to Barcelona, but they have to first speak with PSG", Tonietto is quoted as saying.
