Piqué: "Sell Messi? Leo is untouchable"

By on 22:12

Gerard Piqué has made it clear in comments to the newspaper 'Sport' that Lionel Messi is "the most untouchable of all " Barcelona players: "He is the best player in the world and has given us so much, it is impossible to think of him not being here".
The central defender believes the side should continue to revolve around Messi: "It has been like that in the last few years, we know how important he is for us and it would be stupid not to use him. When you don't have the best player in the world you want to sign him so it does not make sense not using him when you have him", he insisted.
Piqué also explained that the Barcelona dressing room has been very calm since the announcement of the arrival of Neymar. "Around him there has been a lot said and it is normal that an image is built up on the outside," but according to Piqué it has nothing to do with what is happening behind closed doors. "He seems a very calm, easy-going person and should adjust here very well. I am sure that being the star he already is, he will do that with little problem", he continued.
Piqué does not either envisage any problems between Messi and Neymar, because in the Barcelona dressing room "people are more than used to working alongside star players".
