"Benzema is first choice"

"But Morata might face Levante", Carlo Ancelotti said.
Carlo Ancelotti has held his pre-match press conference ahead of the clash away at Levante and told the fans to expect a rejigged line-up, including a possible change up front. "Benzema is the first-choice striker, but Morata might play against Levante. Though he hasn't scored, I'm very happy with Benzema".
Ancelotti noted that he is chopping and changing his team to make sure everyone stays in tip-top shape, hence why Sergio Ramos and Isco were on the bench midweek in the Champions League. "I am rotating to keep everyone in good condition, so this Saturday the players who didn't start against FC Copenhagen will play. It is to avoid any problems", he stated. This tinkering could mean a chance for Álvaro Morata. "Morata might play. Not everyone who missed out [midweek] will play on Saturday, but many of them will".
"Levante is a tough opponent, particularly on its own turf. Real Madrid cannot afford to take its eye off the ball because we have had difficulties against similar teams like Villarreal and Elche. We will need to play at full intensity to win", the Italian warned.
Nevertheless, Ancelotti is confident that his side will continue the revival it started with Wednesday's thrashing of Copenhagen: "We are going to start playing with a bit more fluency over the next few games and hopefully close the gap on Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid".
