Tata Martino explained that after two months in Barcelona, he is starting to understand how things work at the club, assuring that there seems to be a need to create a weekly crisis regarding the team's style of play.
"I'm settling in and discovering that there is a need to create a weekly crisis. Sometimes the crisis persists for several weeks, other times for three days. I'm not angry. I'm starting to get a feeling for what the next crisis will be," he said sarcastically. The Argentinean faces this Saturday's game against Valladolid precisely with the objective of maintaining the style which his team showed against Celtic and heading into the international break with a positive progression in the team's play.
"The team is evolving; we're taking steps forward. There hasn't been a game when we've gone backwards. There's lots of room to keep improving. There is an evolution in every game. The best thing is to get better and better and keep winning at the same time, which is what we are doing," said the Argentinean during the press conference. In this regard, he stressed that the path to follow is the one shown against the Scots: "We need to reproduce what we did in Glasgow and prove that we can repeat a good performance."
