On Wednesday, Fernando Llorente will play his first game in Spain
since his departure to Juventus. The striker from the Rioja region of
Spain will visit the Santiago Bernabéu with his new Italian side and he
already knows what's in store based on his visits with Athletic de
Bilbao.
And Fernando Llorente doesn't just know the stadium well; he knows what it feels like to score there. "It's always an emotional event to play in a stadium like the Bernabéu, where I've already won once and where I've scored a couple of times", he told Juventus TV.
Llorente also explained that he's pleased with the idea of playing against a team from his home country again: "I like coming up against a Spanish side, especially a great team like Real Madrid".
Llorente has played five games in Serie A so far, which have seen him score one goal, and has played just 23 minutes, against Galatasaray, in the Champions League.
