Juve to move for Benzema if Pogba leaves, says Gazzetta

By on 20:51

Juventus will move for Karim Benzema if midfielder Paul Pogba leaves the Italian champions, say reports in Gazzetta dello Sport.
The newspaper claims that Pogba’s departure from the Juventus Stadium would lead to the arrival of a big-name signing up front, with Benzema’s name figuring among potential targets. Also understood to be on Juve’s radar are Mario Madzukic, Luis Suárez, Robin Van Persie and Diego Costa.
Juventus are aware that Real Madrid will be out to sign a forward in the close season, and that Benzema will consider leaving the Santiago Bernabéu. According to Gazzetta, Liverpool star Luis Suárez is in line for a move to the Liga BBVA club, a switch which would see Benzema depart the Spanish capital – with Juve waiting in the wings to snap up the Frenchman.
The Bianconeri intend to sell Mirko Vucinic, a move which would leave Carlos Tévez and Fernando Llorente as the only striking options available to coach Antonio Conte.
