Sandro
Rosell is to ask the number 5 magistrate's court of Spain's High Court for
territorial jurisdiction to ensure that the judicial process related to the
complaint filed against him by disgruntled club member Jordi Cases be heard in
Barcelona. He will do this because the complaint was filed in the Catalan
capital.
Rosell will
make the request three days after the public appearance in which he asked that
judge Ruz summon him to testify "as soon as possible", in order to
clarify, without breaking the confidentiality clause, what he is charged with
in the complaint filed by Jordi Cases.
In his
judicial decree, the judge made it clear that he will not yet summon the
Barcelona president because he does not consider it a matter of
"urgency". After studying all the requested documentation, Ruz thinks
there could be a case of contractual simulation, which is why he decided to
admit the complaint from Jordi Cases.
The judge
wants to continue gathering information and to this end will ask FIFA for all
the documentation related to the signing, the player and contract signed with
N&N. He has also requested the contracts for the payments of €7.9m for the
rights of three of Santos' youth players, and €9m for two friendlies.
