Carlo Ancelotti is convinced, despite trailing Barcelona and Atlético in the league table, that Real Madrid will challenge for every piece of silverware until the end.
"It's a very long season in every competition. Of one thing I'm sure: we'll fight for that silverware until the very end".
Ancelotti called for calm: "Sometimes I don't understand all the worrying. We won the Champions League just four months ago".
He commented on Illarramendi: "All Illarramendi lacks is a coach who'll play him on the pitch. He doesn't lack anything else".
Players' form: "Some players are in good form. Cristiano is doing well, as is Kroos, and Karim is in great form. We need the same form from other players, like Luka and Gareth. They'll get better as they play more".
Mourinho's words on Cristiano: "I don't know what his relationship is like with Ronaldo, I'm not really interested because it's a personal relationship and has nothing to do with Real Madrid".
Better in the first half than after the break: "We had a bit of a strange pre-season because of the World Cup. Our players arrived back quite late and we didn't have time to train".
Do you see the academy as a solution to that attacking midfield position? "We're not looking at that right now. We have some quality young players in our academy, but I think we have the attacking midfield position covered. There's no problem. It's a little early right now to be thinking about our youngsters".
